Touchscreen

September 3, 2009 – 10:22 am

As an owner of a Pocket PC I appreciate that I can use the touchscreen as an input method. The Windows operating system for Pocket PC is actually designed from scratch to support touchscreens. Would it not be great if we could have the same features on our desktop PCs? It appears that it may be soon possible in the next operating system that Microsoft is going to release this October, namely Windows 7. For many years computer users were used to the fact that they had to use the mouse and keyboard as an input method; however, I think that the time has come for some changes. Fortunately, Microsoft also believes so as it added a lot of useful features to Windows 7.
