Did you ever hear about Sims Online? The Sims are one of the most famous series of casual games. They sold millions worldwide and one of the games is Sims Online. Obviously, the action of Sims Online takes place over the Internet, which allows people to communicate with each other and form friendships. You can build a house, get a job, buy furniture, and decorate your house in many ways.
What is interesting is that EA-Land was launched last year which was a free version of Sims Online. It was completely free-to-play and users had the ability to upload custom content. Even though the game was free, it did not attract a lot more people and eventually the game got cancelled. When it comes to Sims Online, not everyone was willing to buy the game for $40 and then pay a hefty monthly free, but it seems that players don’t even want to play it for free.
