Obviously, the action of Sims Online takes place over the Internet, which allows people to communicate with each other and form friendships. You can build a house, get a job, buy furniture, and decorate your house in many ways.
What is interesting is that EA-Land was launched last year which was a free version of Sims Online. It was completely free-to-play and users had the ability to upload custom content. Even though the game was free, it did not attract a lot more people and eventually the game got cancelled. When it comes to Sims Online, not everyone was willing to buy the game for $40 and then pay a hefty monthly free, but it seems that players don’t even want to play it for free.
