The Future of GPS

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. This system is used for tracking people, cars, and transported products. Many people wonder what the future of this innovative technology is. I can certainly say that the future is promising. Imagine that you had an accident. Wouldn’t it be nice to transfer your coordinates to the nearest emergency operator that could inform a medical team about the accident, so that they could come and help? Many cell phones today have this interesting feature that could still be enhanced and improved in the future. I am sure that there will be many uses for GPS that we cannot even think of. GPS technology already helps us fight crime by tracking potential criminals. I imagine that it can do a lot more for us. GPS can be also useful to you if you are a parent. It will be especially useful to you if you have a young child, and you want to make sure that it is safe. If your child is away from home, you can easily check where it is. That way many accidents can be avoided, and many dangerous situations can be prevented from happening. I do not think that as a parent you have the right to control everything your children are doing, but reasonable supervision can prevent tragic events from happening.
