Did you know that your cell phone is a type of a radio? Amazing, is it not? As a matter of fact, cell phones work on the very same principle as radios work. Your cell phone acts almost exactly as a radio and transmitter receiver. Did you notice that you mobile phone has a small antenna attached to it? This is what it uses to receive and send transmissions. The fact that every single cell phone is so similar to a radio reminds me of a very simple principle. The technology is using its previous inventions in order to advance. Many things that we have today at our home, or gadgets about which we read on the Internet and magazines are just a better version of what was already discovered many years ago. I think this is quite intriguing. It basically proves that we need previous advancements in order to create new ones. Computers are getting more powerful each year, but it is possible because they often take advantage out of existing technologies. That is why there are faster computers being invented all the time. All humankind works together in order to invent devices that make our everyday life easier and more convenient.
