Backing Up Your Personal Data Assistant
August 8, 2011 – 11:09 amPersonal Data Assistants are like very small PCs that has many useful features. Actually, its name Personal Data Assistant is a little bit misleading, as it no longer really serves only as an assistant. These days PDAs are becoming more like regular PCs. You can browse the Internet, watch movies, listen to music, and even install software that was normally only available for PCs. Actually, if you make notes in your Microsoft Word document on a PDA, you will need to back up all the data from your PDA. You might still have a lot less data on your PDA than on your PC, and this is why you will need a smaller disk to make a back up. This is why something with the storage capacity from 512Mb to 8Gb will do the trick. It can be anything: a CompactFlash card, a MultiMedia card, or a Secure Digital card. You do not want to lose any important documents or notes, so make sure you back up your PDA on a regular basis. If you are an owner of a PDA, and use it for some other purpose I did not mention here, feel free to let me know what else can a PDA be useful for.
