PDF Files

Recently, I was wondering what is so special about PDF files. PDF stands for Portable Document Format, and you will see PDF documents in a lot of places. I think I know what is so attractive about them. Regular text editors simply lack the features that Acrobat Acrobat has. PDF files have the possibility to not only contain text, but they actually are able to contain almost all elements. This includes pictures, fonts, graphs, images, and tables. PDF files often look like scans of documents, and this is what makes them different from regular text files. The program that you need in order to run a PDF file on your computer is called Adobe Acrobat. If you do not have this software installed on your computer yet, I recommend that you consider downloading it, as it is a very useful program.
