Multiple IDs in Yahoo Messenger

Instant messengers can make our life a lot easier, and are often a better solution, than emails. Sometimes you may want to use multiple IDs for your messengers, for example, if you want to use different IDs to communicate with different people. You do not have to have a few Yahoo Messengers installed and opened to be able to use your different IDs. You can log in with a few IDs at the same time, if you configure your option in the correct way. It is easy to convert a single user Yahoo Messenger to multiple user, that can be used from the same computer at the same time. Before you start making changes make sure that you are logged in as admin.
1. Go to Start menu, then to Run options.
2. Type regedit in Run box and press OK.
3. Find the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Yahoo/Pager/Test.
4. Right click to create a new DWORD value. Name it Plural and give it the value of 1. Press OK.
5. Restart the computer for changes to go into effect.
6. If you want to reverse what you have just done, follow the same steps but assign the value of 0 where it used to be 1.
You can have different IDs if you are interacting with different people such as family, friends, co-workers and want to keep the conversations separate.
