Living Near a Lake

I try not to be too demanding when it comes to choosing a place to retire, but living near a lake sounds attractive to me. I like the idea of living close to water as it remind me of summer vacation. I like to take my summer vacation near a lake or a sea. But let me go back talking about living near water. With so many options available to me like Smith Lake Alabama for instance, I am finding choosing the right place to retire more and more difficult. I am lucky that I still have many years before I am going to need to decide where to retire. Also nobody is hurrying me and telling me to make the decision right now. When it comes to you, where would you like to live after you retire? Do you already have some plans that you would like to see come into fruition? I know that some people do not plan where they are going to retire until they are very old. I like to be able to imagine that I live near a lake even if it means that I am not going to move there for the next couple of years.
