How to Set Multiple Homepages in Internet Explorer
November 15, 2008 – 2:43 pmThis interesting feature was not available in Internet Explorer until recently (I remember using it in Firefox knowing that it is not possible to do in Internet Explorer). Now, with IE version 7, you can set multiple homepages. By allowing multiple homepages to open in your browser, you are saving plenty of time. There might be many websites which you visit every day, and why not make them even more accessible than ever. Once you notice that you visit a website often, I strongly suggest that you set it to appear as your home page.
Here it is how to do it:
1. In Internet Explorer go to Tools, then to Internet Options and then select General tab.
2. In General tab you will see the option to type each address in its own line in order to create homepages. Follow these instructions.
3. Type one URL, press Enter, type another one, press Enter etc.
4. Press OK to finalize the process.
One might ask why have multiple homepages? You will appreciate this feature, if there are a few websites which you visit on a daily basis. Why waste time typing the addresses each time? It is always better to save as much time as possible.
