Get Rid of Your Calculator
September 7, 2008 – 1:05 pmOne of the nicest features of computers is that they replace many other devices like calculators, CD players, game consoles, or even alarm clocks. If you have a computer you can get rid of other equipment that takes more space and costs more money. Computers with Windows Operating system have its own simple calculator installed for you to perform your own calculations sing it. To locate it on your PC follow these steps:
1. Go to Start menu and then find Programs.
2. Here look for Accessories and select Calculator.
3. Calculator window box will appear. It is all you need to do to locate your calculator. Use the mouse or number from the right side of your keyboard to conduct the operations on it.
I use this tool from time to time, as it is a lot more convenient to do so on your own computer, compared to searching for a regular calculator in all of your drawers. Of course, you don’t have to get rid of your regular calculator, but keep in mind that a computer can replace many devices, and the more you learn about computers, the more you will be amazed with what they can do.
