The probability of someone robbing your house is quite low, but if you travel a lot there is a big risk that it might happen to you one day. One of the most dangerous places are airports, as there are a lot of people walking around. Additionally, waiting a long time for your flight can reduce your alertness. Gadgets such as laptops, cell phones, and iPods are being stolen each day, and the best way to protect yourself is to be aware of the danger. Another way to protect yourself is not to bring many different gadgets with you, but only those which you really use. There have been a lot of thefts in busy places like the New York Subway, so remember to stay alert if you are in such an area.
I believe that one of the reasons many gadgets are being stolen is because they are so small that you can fit them into your pocket and run away. You cannot say the same thing about TV, a DVD player, or a stereo.
