Firefox: Find Tool
January 10, 2009 – 5:12 pmFirefox has been chosen by many as their main browser, and while I think that Opera is more suited for this role, I also use Firefox for some parts of my work. Apart from being a secure browser, if you install the right plugins, one of the reasons why I like Firefox is that it offers a very handy “Find” tool. To take advantage out of this tool, you should go to Edit -> Find in This Page, and you are ready to go. You can also press Ctrl+F to open the “Find” tool as well. Once you opened it, you can search for any search terms you wish, and what is great about it, is that the find panel stays at the bottom of your surfing area, so you can use it whenever you want, without having to open it again. The search terms that you search for are going to be marked, which makes it easy to find whatever you are looking for. I have been using this useful option for a while now and always found it to be very helpful. In fact, I cannot imagine working without it, as it saves me a lot of time.
