Final Fantasy

When it comes to movies, there are very few trilogies or movies consisting of even more sequels. It is similar with video and computer games, however, there are some notable exceptions. One of those are the Final Fantasy series that have been around for years and are soon going to consist of one more title, namely Final Fantasy XIII.
Last year there have been some rumors that Final Fantasy XIII would be released in 2008. I think that this only proves that we should not listen to rumors. Other sources including Japanese industry analysts predict that the game will come out in 2010, or even 2011. What is the difference, someone might ask? The answer is that it makes a difference for millions of fans of the series as this is one of the highest budget and longest game series to be ever produced. It is expected that no matter when the game comes out it will sell millions of copies anyway. Let us hope that the delay will make the game even higher quality, and it will be worth waiting for. One of the things which make Final Fantasy so appealing is emphasis on creating a unique atmosphere by integrating beautiful graphics and music. Each character in-game has his own personality, and it adds to the realism of the game.
