Buildings Shifting Shape
February 5, 2009 – 7:52 pmTechnology changed our life dramatically and influenced many different areas of our daily living. One area which it didn’t influence that much is construction, as we still use many basic construction techniques which were used hundreds of years ago. This is about to change as there are some innovations approaching. One of the most interesting ones is a skyscraper which is dynamically shifting shape. It may sound unrealistic, but I ensure you that it is true and buildings built with such technology will last a long time. Additionally, they are quite fast to built. The only major drawback is the price, as those apartments will cost millions of dollars, so they won’t be easily accessible to an average family.
