Brain-Computer Interface

The title of my post sounds probably like from a science fiction movie, however, the truth is that there is some progress when it comes to interfacing our brain with computers. People with limited motion could benefit from such an interface, as they could control computers just with their mind. Eventually, it is possible that keyboards and mouses could be replaced as there would be no need for them.
There is even a device which is going to be sold soon that will allow users to levitate virtual rocks, pull digital trees, and scare off in-game spirits, just by focusing with your mind. The device is still being enhanced all the time, but what it already offers is very impressive. The way it works is that the wireless device slips onto the gamers head, its slender metal branches slide through hair to rest against the scalp. The metal arms detect the electrical current conducted by the brain and transmit the data to a chip that deciphers the information, and translates it into data that can be used by the program to control games. With this device you will also be able to browse the Internet just with your thoughts.
Like I said, the devices of this type are not perfected yet, and are still in an development stage. However, just the thought of using such devices is incredible, and it seems that the research has accelerated recently.
